2022 Spring Bass Tournament Update
MCGILL’S SPRING BASS TOURNAMENT WAS A SUCCESS
This past Friday, 36 anglers from across the state headed out to Lake Rhodhiss for McGill’s 19th Annual Spring Bass Tournament. With sunny skies and a temperature of 80 degrees — it was a perfect day for some friendly competition.
Participants said it was a rough day for fishing, but after two years of the event being postponed due to COVID, everyone was thrilled to return to the water.
FISHING TOURNAMENT RESULTS
The largest non-bass was 1.2 pounds, the largest bass was 3.4 pounds, and the first-place winners Corey Patton and Jessie Smith, caught 5 fish, weighing in at 10.8 pounds.

MCGILL LOOKS FORWARD TO CONTINUING THE TRADITION
This tournament provided an excellent opportunity for participants to get together and enjoy the outdoors and fish biting spring weather. We place a high value on building strong relationships among staff and members of our communities here at McGill, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
