City of Oxford Celebrates 2017 North Carolina Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Master Plan
McGill Working with Oxford on Asset Management Plan Funding and Master Plan
The City of Oxford was successful in securing funding from DWI for significant water and sewer system replacement projects. The water project will replace approximately 35,000 linear feet of 2-inch through 8-inch aged water lines dating back to 1905. The sewer project will replace approximately 25,000 linear feet of 8-inch through 15-inch aged gravity sewers, reducing infiltration and inflow into the sewer system. Both projects are funded by a combination of grants and loans provided by the NC Connect Bond funds.
McGill assisted with the asset management plan that identified the needed improvements, preparation of funding applications, and is currently completing designs for the projects.
