Siler City’s Loves Creek Greenway Construction Progresses
The Town of Siler City conducted a walk-through on May 12, 2015 along the 1.4-mile Loves Creek Greenway alignment with McGill Associates – who is providing Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the project. The proposed 10-foot wide paved multi-use path with 2-foot shoulders will follow the Town’s existing Loves Creek sewer outfall from South Second Avenue to Pony Farm Road. The project also includes a connection to Alston Bridge Road to provide access to Bray Park, and one (1) creek crossing near Cambridge Street. The greenway is currently scheduled to be complete and open to the public in August.
