McGill Embraces the Spirit of Giving Back This Holiday Season

As the holiday season unfolds, McGill has taken meaningful steps to embody the spirit of giving back through volunteer initiatives across our office locations. This commitment not only reflects our core values but also highlights our dedication to strengthening the communities where we live and work.

Let’s take a closer look at the organizations we’ve partnered with, the type of volunteer efforts they require, and how you can join us in making a difference beyond the holiday season.

Asheville Office: Supporting Disaster Relief and Families in Need

2In Asheville, our team has partnered with Valley Strong Disaster Relief to support those affected by Hurricane Helene. This initiative provides essential resources to families and individuals recovering from the devastation caused by the hurricane. Additionally, we participated in the Adopt a Family program, offering holiday gifts and necessities to families facing financial hardship. Our team also contributed to The Carolina Clauses, a program that spreads holiday cheer through toy and gift donations for children in need.

Hickory Office: Building Homes, Supporting Angel Tree, and Providing Support

6The Hickory team focused on making a tangible impact through their collaboration with Habitat for Humanity in Catawba County. By assisting in building affordable homes, they helped provide stability and hope to families in need. They also supported The Salvation Army of Greater Hickory, an organization offering food, shelter, and resources to those experiencing hardship. In celebration of McGill’s 40th anniversary, the Hickory office prepared 40 stockings for the Angel Tree program, spreading joy to children during the holiday season.
